BaiAilian2013 Posted June 9, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2009 Should I expect a formal night on the Carnival Imagination's 3-day itinerary? Is there generally a formal night on cruises this short? I'm not a first-time cruiser (I've sailed on the Carnival Fascination and Carnival Holiday before, just never on such short itineraries), but this is such a basic question I figured it belongs here. Thanks!

Thanks! There is a formal night but the ship will actually be in port in Nassau. On the 3 night sailings that I have done with both Carnival and RCCL, the participation is minimal. Not too many people will actually dress up on a short cruise.

Rare silentbob007 Posted June 14, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2009 I don't think Carnival even calls it formal night anymore ... but there is an opportunity to dress up if you want.
cb at sea Posted June 15, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2009 You will have 1 "elegant" night. Carnival doesn't call it "formal" anymore.
