RickEk Posted June 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2009 I like that Princess is doing this... first with the Golden and now the Dawn. I do hope that one day the Dawn returns to the US so we can see the changes first-hand!

Atomica Posted June 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2009 I really enjoy these photo-blogs that Princess has been doing, and I hope they continue to do so as future ships undergo either refits or scheduled drydock. I find it totally fascinating!
RickEk Posted June 13, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2009 It will be coming that way on its World Cruise:) Oh yeah, I knew that... ;) I was talking more about being home-ported in the US.
Kiwi Kruzer Posted June 13, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 13, 2009 Oh yeah, I knew that... ;) I was talking more about being home-ported in the US. Probably too small for your market now. Maybe why they sent it here. Interesting to observe while on board, locals were saying its great to have a big ship down here now:eek:.
Kiwi Kruzer Posted June 15, 2009 #8 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Dawn Princess had MUTS floated in.
Kiwi_cruiser Posted June 15, 2009 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Oh yeah, I knew that... ;) I was talking more about being home-ported in the US. As Kiwi Kruzer said it’s probably too small for your market now & I doubt Dawn Princess will every be home-ported back in the USA again. You probably only see it when it does World Cruises or cruises up that way… But it really depends what happens with the cruising market over the next few years in Australia (things could get interesting if Princess ever starts doing sailings from New Zealand!) TorontoTL Posted June 15, 2009 #10 Share Posted June 15, 2009 When Princess builds another new ship (I know they don't have anything official as of yet) it would be great if they did the same type of photoblog for it as well. I love seeing new ships under construction.
Alessandrina Posted June 15, 2009 #11 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Thanks for posting the link. Dawn Princess was the ship I sailed the most on and one of my favorites. Interesting to see the changes taking place. Cheers.
