LivetoCruise412 Posted June 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2009 When my family & I sailled on Princess Caribbean and Grand there was one floor that the balconies were larger than the other floors, but I just can't remember which floor it was. We're sailing on the Emerald in October for my husbands 50th Birthday and he loves to sit on the balcony in the mornings so I would love to surprise him with the cruise and a nice balcony without having to get a suite. It wasn't a rear facing and the TA I had at the time was the one who told us about it but we don't use him anymore. Can anyone help me out please???!!! Toto2Kansas Posted June 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Your looking for balcony staterooms on the Caribe Deck. Enjoy!
bogeydi Posted June 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I think you are referring to the Caribe deck. It has the larger balconies of the non-suite rooms. Great birthday gift! BTW - my husband and I are booked on the Emerald in October as well - although we only reserved a "guarantee" cabin - we have been upgraded to C615 - the Caribe deck! Ya-hoo! LuvTheGoodLife Posted June 18, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Caribe deck balconies are sized 9 ft wide x 9 ft deep. All balcony cabins on decks above Caribe are sized 9 ft wide x 5 ft deep.

ShipShapeinFL Posted June 18, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2009 We loved our balcony on the Aloha deck on the Ruby. Plenty big for 2 people and privacy from above and below.
