Since the Triumph sets sail from NY around 5 pm, anyone think theres a chance it will stay in the harbor to see the fireworks on the 4th over the Statue of Liberty

No.. and I heard that the fireworks is on the West side this year... so if that is true, I am sure they will want as little activity as possible..

I bet they will show fireworks from NY (and who knows where else) on the Lido Deck big screen. That's what I'm hoping for on the Carnival Freedom on July 4th, as it leaves Ft. Lauderdale and sails south along the Florida coast to Cozumel.
