When arriving in PV what is the LOCAL time? On Carnival website it states we arrive at 9am but when I call they state that is Long Beach time. So when booking a private excursion, what is the earliest I can book? Anyone taken this cruise lately that can tell me if we stay on ship time or no?

We haven't yet been on the Splendor, but did the same itinerary on the Pride a couple years ago and moved our clocks ahead 1 hour before reaching PV, but that was still 1 hour behind the local PV time. Then this last March, we did the Spirit to Acapulco, etc., and didn't move the clocks ahead at all, we decided it was because the Pride cruise was during standard time and the Spirit was a month later and was during daylight savings time.
