1 full day in Vancouver / Going to Aquarium / Any other suggestion to fill the day?

Have 1 full day (and night) in Vancouver

Staying at Westin Bayshore

Plan to visit Vancouver Aquarium.

I guess it depends on the person, but how much time to allow for aquarium?

Any suggestions on other things to do? in addition to visiting the aquarium?

keeping in mind timeframe, and transportation (won't have a car).

Would it be feasible to also visit Grouse Mt and suspension bridge on same day as aquarium?

Maybe it would be better to just visit the aquarium and explore Stanley Park?

Any suggestions for the evening?

I would appreciate any feedback and thoughts.

You could easily do Stanley Park/Aquarium plus Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse. The Aquarium would take about 2 hours. If you like to walk, you can walk over from the Bayshore, walk around the seawall, and then cut back at Lumbermans Arch to the aquarium. Maybe leave Grouse for late so you can see the lights of the city come on?

Right now it's still quite bright out at 9 p.m., so you can do a really long day.

We just got back from Vancouver and the one thing we did that we loved was the Hop On Hop Off Trolley. It gave us a great overview of Vancouver and transportation to every part of the city that we were planning to visit. We bought the Vancouver Entertainment book online before we left, it was only $15 since half the year is already over, and used several of the coupons for attractions and restaurants.

I agree with Sally Forth they all can be done in a day. The suspension bridge does have a free shuttle a couple of times a day then the Skyride is just a short transit ride up Capilano Rd. You than can take transit back over the Lions Gate Bridge and there is a bus stop within a block of the Bayshore. For sure I would allow a couple of hrs at the Aqarium, a similar amount of time at the bridge and perhaps 3 hrs on Grouse Mtn.
