Golden VS vs. PS

I have been in both a VS and a PS suite on the Golden's sister ship, the Grand Princess. The main difference between the two is that there was a desk in the living room area of the PS and not in the VS. This made the living room area of the PS slightly larger. Both had a sofa and one comfortable chair in them. The bedroom and bath areas are the same in both. We were in VS cabin D736 and there was a beam on the balcony which somewhat obstructed the view from the living room of the cabin. Our PS suite, B749, did not have the beam. The balcony of the PS suite was slightly larger than that of the VS, but they were both plenty large and both had two loungers with a small table between them as well as a table with four chairs that was good for eating. All of the furniture on the balconies were teak. We had only two people in our party when we were in the VS but my two sons were with us when we had the PS (they had their own cabin, but spent time in ours) so the slightly larger living room area was nice to have then.
