We were very happy with them. http://www.cbshuttle.com/ Go here to this thread, "I work in Port Canaveral". Go to the last page on it and ask questions of them. They were where I got all my information when I cruised from there and they are a big help in answering all questions. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=436720 We stayed at the Radisson and were very pleased there. We also rented a Hertz right down the street from the hotel to tour. http://www.radissonportcanaveral.com/

tahqa Posted July 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2009 Estimated cab fare for Orlando International to Port Canaveral is ~$160. There is a taxi fare approximator at http://www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Orlando. Cabs in Orlando tend to run towards the expensive. :-(
jazm2011 Posted July 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted July 10, 2009 I second the recommendation for Cocoa Beach Shuttle! Great prices and great service!!
wildernesslady Posted July 10, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2009 We got a decent rate from budget. You can pick the car up in Orlando and return to the port the next morning. Their discount code is BCD W810011. We arriving a day also for our trip and wanted to be able to explore the port and Cocoa Beach. Good luck you may have to keep trying to get a good rate. martinchem Posted July 10, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 10, 2009 If you're going to be there a couple days get a rental.
cb at sea Posted July 10, 2009 #8 Share Posted July 10, 2009 It's at LEAST, a 45 min. drive, unless there are traffic back-ups, then it will take longer! You don't want to use a cab!!!!
HB Cruiser Posted July 10, 2009 #9 Share Posted July 10, 2009 I too vote for a rental. Hertz, Budget, and Avis is all right there in the Cocoa/Canaveral area. Personally we use Budget because of their friendliness and promptness. Here is a website that will give you discount codes for rentals. http://www.mousesavers.com Tim
