lukegr Posted July 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2009 Are you using an image that ends in .jpg? When you're using the insert image button, it must end in a .jpg or .bmp or .something else
templed Posted July 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2009 if you have the picture hosted on a site... it's easy... type " [ i m g ] " (no quotes, remove the spaces)... then paste the link to the picture ... then close the tag " [ / i m g ] " (no quotes, remove the spaces... otherwise... you have to use the picture upload feature, and I believe there is a file size limitation. Cuizer2 Posted July 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2009 It is easier to post pictures if the picture already exists on the Internet. There are several photo hosting sites, including Photobucket and Webshots. Both are free, so are several others.

RatherBFishin Posted July 14, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 14, 2009 if you have the picture hosted on a site... it's easy... type " [ i m g ] " (no quotes, remove the spaces)... then paste the link to the picture ... then close the tag " [ / i m g ] " (no quotes, remove the spaces... otherwise... you have to use the picture upload feature, and I believe there is a file size limitation. Just for reference, when you want to instruct people how to type BBCode, you can use the "CODE" tag without the pain. For example, reformating above: If you have the picture hosted on a site... it's easy... type [img=link to the picture] otherwise... you have to use the picture upload feature, and I believe there is a file size limitation.
