Connecting Rooms on Vision - noisy?

Recommended Posts

I just realized that the balcony room I chose on Vision of the Seas is a connecting room. I like the location better than the others available - mid-ship but far enough away from the elevators - but I am wondering if the connecting rooms are noisy. Reading general recommendations about cruising...all say to stay away from connecting rooms whenever possible.

Any general opinions of adjoined rooms for Vision OTS or Vision-class ships?

Thanks!

Yes, stay AWAY from connecting rooms. Been on twelve cruises with different cruise lines and the two cruises with connecting rooms had kids next door and it was noisy expecially on RCL and especially during the X-mas and new year cruises.

I would imagine it would totally depend on how loud your neighbors are! Normal conversational volumes shouldn't be heard!!!

Now, you will be able to hear your neighbors on your balcony--and that goes for ANY balcony--after all, they are open spaces!
