I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to cruise on the Glory the week before she goes into dry dock.I am wondering if they ship will be neglected just before dry dock and do not want to be on it if it will be a mess.Just wondering if past guests have been on a final sail before dry dock?? Thanks

I read both the Carnival thread and the Princess thread since I travel on both. Earler this year a cruiser on the Golden Princess told of how Princess started doing the work during his cruise. Such things as decks being shut, casino closed, contracters taking up space on the Lido deck. It sounded bad to me. After reading his thread and others about it, I have decided I will not sail on any ship for a couple of cruises before and after a dry dock. (other posters told how somethings were not done on the first cruises back and how some areas were still closed.

Well just my opinion. But if you are going to spend money on a cruise, why do it when things might not be the best.

Funny you should ask - I just asked the same question a little while ago:
