Helsinki tram all day tourist tickets

does anyone have information on the Helsinki tram? I read that you can buy an all day tourist ticket for 6.80 euro. That is valid on trams and ferries.

we want to take the tram to visit the Rock Church, Uspensky Cathedral and monuments and then take the boat over to the Fortress.

Where do we pickup the tram? and where is the boat for the Fortress? Is there a map which shows the new updated route with details for specific stops?

Here is a map of the various tram routes in Helsinki including the 3t/3b (there is an actual 3t/3b map but I could not find a link to it that works), which will take you close to most of the major tourist sites including the rock church, etc. We boarded the tram close to esplanadi and did the whole route.

You can also get a copy of the map from the tourist info centre, where you can also purchase the tourist ticket (they take credit cards). I suggest stopping by the tourist info centre because the staff can answer a lot of your questions.

Check out this website for more info on how to get around using public transportation: http://www.hel.fi/wps/portal/HKL_en/Artikkeli?WCM_GLOBAL_CONTEXT=/HKL/en/Services/As+a+visitor+in+Helsinki

and where is the boat for the Fortress?

The ferry/boat to the fortress starts at the east end of the market square (the boat with propeller working on this picture) . There is a easy to find ticket office.

There are other boats going to the fortress from the west side of the market but you cannot use the tourist ticket on those.

On the top left corner of the picture you can also see the tourist info centre next to the tram at corner Unioninkatu/Pohjoisesplanadi.

You'll need to take the bus from the dock to catch either the tram of the ferry. Do you know where your ship docks?

I personally agree with you, but there are tram options "sort of close" to each of the dock entrances, if one is willing to "hoof" it a bit further from the ship than the bus stop.

Does anyone know where does the NCL Jewel dock? We'll be arriving on September 3rd.

West Harbor, Berth LHC. Your best bet from transportation into town is bus number 16 to Senate Square. The 14B bus also runs from here, but veers off in the direction of Church in the Rock, which is fine if that's where you want to head directly from the port or the last thing you want to see before coming back to the ship.

Bus stop closest to the berth is pictured below:
