What Would You Like To See Go Away On Cruises?

Would I would like to see gone on Carnival and other lines too, is the stupid confusing classifications.....

 

For me, you either have a inside, oceanview, balcony, or suite, that is either on this deck or that deck, and your on the aft or forward or center part of the ship.

 

For example I would say to someone yeah, I got an oceanview room on Main Deck middle of the ship - thats it, easy.

And if only the kids would stay out of the adult only areas, it might be better, but some parents don't seem to want to follow the rules with their kids. I love the pics poeple take of the adult hot tubs, 'adult only sign' clearly visible, and the tub is full of kids!

"if you don't like formal nights, don't eat in dining room"

I enjoy the singing waiters, but I don't tell off those who don't.

I enjoy Karaoke but respect that not everyone does.

I enjoy the pools, but understand some prefer freshwater pools.

I don't mind kids, but understand some prefer adults only.

I don't smoke but don't care if you do

I enjoy my photo being taken, but respect that you may not.

I love Carnival, but offer friendly suggestions on improvement.

And ... I'm sorry, but that's just logical. If you don't think Carnival is a good product for the price, don't give them their money. That's Econ 101. Same thing with the others (except the few you take to some sort of logical extreme). If you don't like karaoke, why *would* you go? To sit there and shake your head and make snippy comments and feel all kinds of superior? If you don't want to see the hairy chest competition, why would you go to that? So you can play Maude Flanders and be outraged?

Regent, Seabourn, Windstar, and plenty more. If you're asking are there lines out there that would cater to you for 800 bucks a person? Then the answer is no. Why should they?

 

Kids and families are where mass marketed lines revenue is at, and they know it. Kids and families are one of the reasons you and others can sail AT ALL for that cheap price. So, instead of griping about kids, you should be thanking the little buggers for making you capable of traveling to these awesome places in such wonderful surroundings for almost nothing, if you're too broke or too cheap to fork out 3000-10000 bucks a person for "quiet time".

 

And yeah, I have four gorgeous, awesome, well-mannered kids that I pay out the wazoo to cruise so others can keep that cheap price. You're welcome! :D

People put out their suggestions of what they would rather not see and than get flamed for it.

 

BTW we love kids but do not like a ship full of them so we do not go on weeks when likely to have lots of them.

 

This also allows us to go on off peak times and get much better pricing.

 

The problem is the ship is than full of elderly people who like to push their wheel chairs over my toes and cut in lines.

 

Guess we will have to go back to using our yacht.
