I forgot about the possibilty of missing Cococay! Oh well..guess it becomes a sea day then...;)

I can't speak for RCCL because I haven't sailed them yet but if you mean paying the tab at the end with cash or a different credit card, I have never had a problem....you need to go to the pursers desk before the deadline....

Cruisegirl, keep in touch. We're a group of fun loving girls who love to dance the nights away.

Also, we've been to Coco Cay on three different sailings and haven't missed one yet. But know that the possibilty is there.

On our last sailing we had to do some key swapping. We just got extra keys from the pursers desk and didn't have any problems.

I am going with my girlfriend and my grandmother and her friend. I had to book my girlfriend with one of them since I will be 21 and she will not.

Should I juts try to get extra keys or just tell them I want to switch and have them sort it all out. And when can we decide what SeaPass acounts we want where. Me and my girlfriend (booked in different rooms) want to be on one accoutn and my grandmother and her friend each want seperate accounts.

Anybody know anything of a refurbishing.

Ok...I just read a review of a 3 nighter on the Sovereign....I would like to know if there is that much of a difference on a 3 night vs a 4 night cruise???? I am a little concerned that I'm going to get the food-fighting, drunken type in the dining room with me on formal night:eek: or any night!!! Any feedback from those who have sailed her on a 3 nighter?????

Ok - you have me convinced. As much as I LOVE the Sovereign, I think that sometime in the near future, I must start thinking about doing the 4 day on the Majesty. Hope the 3 our drive to the port in Miami is worth it! (I only have a 12 minute drive to the Sovereign, hehe.)

For me 3 nights is just too short. 4 nights makes it just a little longer to make it feel like a real vacation. The only way i can see me liking a 3 night is if I can only get away for a weekend.

I have been on a Sovereign 4 night and and going on Majesty in November.

Sovereign is an hour drive for me; and Majesty is about 4 and a half. Really not looking forward to the drive.

brianroberts...I have to agree with you...3 days is too short!!! Except I had some family issues come up this year that forced me to cancel a 7 day cruise I had planned:( because I used up my paid vacation time...and now I have to do a weekend quickie just to get my cruise fix!!! :D ...

I'm glad to hear so many nice things about the Majesty. Having only been on RCLs AOS, I really have nothing to compare it to. I did go on the NCL Dawn for my first curise 3 years ago, a three day Bahamas out of Miami. Any similarities? Size? Casino? Pools? This time I'm going with a friend who has never cruised before. We are taking the Majesty on a 4 nighter in September. I'm sure we will have a blast!

You can't have a good day with a bad attitude and conversely, you can't have a bad day with a good attitude. :D

The main difference between the 3 nighter and the 4 nighter is the days of the week. The 3 nighter is over a weekend so you get more people looking for fun! No problems with that though. We've been on the 3 nighter twice and have never encountered the drunken madness that others have seen even on much longer cruises. The clientele changes sailing to sailing and you can't be assured of anything!

Brian, the easiest thing to do is just ask for extra keys. I've done this plenty of times, even at the point of check in.

I'm hoping that hurricane season takes a vacation that week, so we don't miss Coco Cay. I'd like to be 1 for 1 in visits (since the 9/6 cruise is my first cruise).

I figured we'd start smaller, and work up in cruise' ship size ;)

Cruisegirl, we'll(me and 2 other girlfriends) be on the Sept. 24th sailing with you. This will be our 3rd extended girls night out on the Majesty!

Hello Tybug,

My wife & I are bringing 3 of our kids (22 to 29 yrs) on the Sept 24th Majesty of the Seas cruise.

It's good to know there will be some other "young adults" for them to meet.

Enjoy the Majesty. According to what I have read, it should be a good time !!

Hi again everyone!

Tybug...how many more days is it now??? LOL...:D

Lizard....I have a son who is 23...so I guess that means I am in your age bracket!!!;)

Here's a question...How formal is formal night??? I like to dress up for formal night and was wondering if most of the passenhgers do or don't on a 3 night cruise? My cabinmate has never been on a cruise before and he wants to know if a suit and tie are appropriate enough...any feedback???

And would anyone like to meet up at sailaway??? I think it would be fun!

:D

Have a great Sunday!!!
