curlyguy Posted August 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2009 What nights of the cruise are the formal nights? We are cruising on the Freedom of the Seas on November 8 2009.
jenduse Posted August 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2009 I believe formal nights are Day 2 and Day 5. You might want to repost to include ship you are sailing on. One seems to get more replies that way! Enjoy your cruise!!
curlyguy Posted August 25, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Thanks for your reply jenduse, but I did post Freedom of the Seas in my original post. :)
Langley Cruisers Posted August 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Well, it can depend on your itinerary, but Formal Night is usually held on a sea day. Checking your itinerary, I see you are in port on Day 2, and Day 3 is a sea day. I would assume your Formal Nights will be Day 3 and Day 6; your printed Cruise Compass will tell you for sure, though. cb at sea Posted August 25, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2009 The 1st formal night is ALWAYS night 2....if you have another, it will be on the next to last evening.
rdharbis1 Posted August 26, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 26, 2009 When you get your travel documents, usually 3 to 4 weeks prior, it will have the schedule for your particular cruise.

If you do a search for "Freedom Compass", you will find this, too.
Langley Cruisers Posted August 26, 2009 #8 Share Posted August 26, 2009 ^ Just for the record, IP's itinerary is different than the one you've posted this Compass for. There is no sea day on Day 2; they are in CocoCay, Bahamas. That's why I suggested it may be on the first sea day, which is Day 3. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I have yet to be on an RCI cruise that had a Formal Night on a port day. Just sayin'. :) http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cruiseDetails/itineraryAndPricing.do;jsessionid=0000buk0YWKWYvyIr_MUc92D0sy:12h3g0fq2?packageCode=FR07E018&sailDate=1091108&date=200910&selectedCurrencyCode=&promoType=&hasSenior=&hasMilitary=&hasFireandPolice=&state=ON
