Available/empty cabins??

I have seen some posts on this board where people are able to determine the # of unbooked/unassigned cabins on a particular upcoming cruise. How does one obtain this info--is there a simple way to do so? I don't feel like starting a fake reservation and looking deck-by-deck. Or is that the only way?

the RCCL site will only show a sampling, there are some outside sites that show more, but the only wayt to get all of the m is to call RCCL

And, I believe that the other sites that show more do not account for guarantee rooms or cabins not assigned. In other words, what they show as available tends to overstate the total availability. JMHO
