How do cabin upgrades work? We are on the Enchantment 9/10 and there appears to be LOTS of cabins left in all categories. Do we ask at the pier?

Sorry, but the only way to almost guarantee an upgrade is to BRING YOUR CREDIT CARD! Upgrades aren't easy to come by these days, even at the pier.:(

You can try that. Here's the procedure:

 

AFTER you do your regular check-in and get your SeaPass cards, go to the Pier Coordinator's desk. (ask, if you don't see the sign; I think that it's all the way to the right of the regular desks, to the left of where you go to board the ship).

 

This is the person who is selling pier upgrades. She or he will have a list of prices, whatever cabin to whatever cabin, IF there are upgrades to be purchased.
