thesawch Posted August 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2009 The DW and I are heading out on a cruise without our kids.We always had a table for the 4 of us.This time we are a little concerned about getting a table for 4.We are kinda shy and not all that talkative so we may feel awkward if we get stuck at a table with another couple that we have nothing in common with.We like eating in the dining room.We would not mind a big table with like 10 people but a table for 4 or 6 would not cut it for us. Can you get a table for 2 or request a table for 8 or more on Carnival . Just some thoughts on this. Thanks

LiB Posted August 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2009 We just returned from a cruise 2 weeks ago. We were assisgned to a table of 4. Saw the MD on the first day and changed it to a table of 8. No problem. We usually get along with anyone, but wanted a more diverse group. We had a great time. Enjoy your cruise!!

As it turned out, only one other coup turned up so it was kinda odd 4 people at a table for 10. Turns out, we hit it off well with the other couple and even now stay in contact via email.
