LIVE on the Caribbean Princess, Western Caribbean, December 5-12, 2021: Geoherb goes solo again
I was the first new passenger to board the beautiful Caribbean Princess this morning. It's great to be back. I flew down on a direct Southwest flight from Raleigh-Durham. It landed in Fort Lauderdale a little before 10. I was at the port around 10:30. The cab ride was $17.15 before tip. Checkin was a breeze. There was no line for security. Someone checked my vaccination card and passport, then another person scanned my carry-on luggage. He alerted the wine table that I had my one bottle of wine,
They have caught up and are now 10 minutes ahead of schedule. I guess it's time to pack up my computer.
I've saved all the Patters and will scan and post them in a separate thread after I get home tomorrow. It's been a fun cruise. I'm glad I came back to the CB. I like being able to walk around the Promenade (even on those days when I stuck to just the shady side when it was too hot in the sun). The cruise director's staff was great. Sailing at reduced capacity without kids is great.
