Venice and boarding
Anyone embark in Venice this year? I understand the ships are docking at Fusina on the mainland. Do you check-in at the cruise terminal on the island (I.e. get seapass, etc.?) or are you simply transported to Fusina by bus and check in there? What time did boarding open? Thanks!
I totally agree with everyone that the best way to see Venice is to stay there first, however, we just got off the Viking Sky with 3 days in Venice, we were at Fusina and viking was running shuttle boats directly from the ship to st marks square for excursions and Venice on your own, it only took 40 minutes so it really wasn’t too bad, Fusina seems to be the best of bad options if you want to see Venice from a cruise ship
