Cruising Mediterranean in early November

We are looking forward to cruising the Wind Breeze this fall. Has anyone cruised between Rome and Barcelona at this time of year? (early Nov.) How were the seas? What was the weather like...more rainy, cold and windy? Any additional packing suggestions? The weather sites have been very vague. Thanks for your help.

We live in the Med - it can be variable I'm afraid. You should still get some nice warm days but evenings will be cool to chilly (I start shutting the doors to the outside in the evenings in October). There is also a high likelihood of storms and rain - but hey, you could just as easily be lucky! The bottom line is you will need shorts and T-shirts for the sunny days - but also some warmer gear for any bad weather plus a bit of wet weather gear. I wouldn't expect to get much wear out of sleeveless things in the evenings in November, but slacks and cut-offs will be useful.

I'd say that on average the weather still tends to be warm and sunny in Oct/first half of Nov and that any rain or storms usually clear up fairly quickly.
