We were on the Windstar this January. We organized our Cano Island and Golfo Dulce tours with a local company called Changing Tide Tours. They were fair priced and offered great service. The general feedback on both days was that our tours were better value and more personal than the trips organized direct with the ship. I would check them out.... I hope that helps!

Yes, we snorkeled at both sites and loved every minute! Me and my wife are both avid snorkelers and so wanted to make the most of the time under water in that part of the world. The water was very clear. I remember Isla del cano being busier than Golfo Dulce but we still enjoyed both and felt that we had enough space to ourselves.
