Have any of you found Disney's prices to go down as final payments are paid or not.. We are about 5 months out from the cruise we would want to take on this ship..The prices are very high .. would like to just try them once.. no kids..:).. thanks for any help

DCL does offer "last minute" rates commonly referred to as *GT rates where the * stands for I, O, or V...as in inside, oceanview, or verandah.

These are restricted fares. The biggest restrictions are that they must be paid for at the time of booking and NO changes are permitted after booking. In exchange for a fee reduction, you are agreeing to accept any cabin of the TYPE (not category) you have selected. Typically these fares are approximately the same as opening day fares, but we've seen them be as much as a couple thousand dollars less (on European cruises).

They are typically offered after the penalty period for the cruise has begun and are limited to new bookings only.

The question of whether to wait/hope for one of these depends on whether you want to select your own cabin location and how much you have your heart set on this particular cruise.

Normally DCL rates increase as the ships fill. These restricted fares are available only when they need to fill an underbooked cruise.
