Magic Wifi

I know the magic does not yet have carnival hub, but I heard that is still has the wifi plan of 5 per day, or 16, or 25 dollar plans. Is that correct?

I believe the plan you're talking about is the social plan. This plan allows you to use facebook, twitter, snapchat etc. It worked really well this past week. We were able to keep in touch with others in our party that was with us on the ship. It's great to know where others are or arrange meetings. As you said, the cost is $25 for the cruise and well worth it. It's great to have at least 1 person from each family purchase the plan in order to keep in touch.

Perfect. So they do In Fact have it? And it worked well? How do you purchase this? We have a group of 27 leaving in 2 weeks and want to be able to all keep in touch.

It can be purchased after sail away. Just switch your device to "Airplane Mode" then turn your WiFi back on. Select Carnival Magic WiFi and it will connect. Next open your browser on your device and it should take you to a page that lets you sign up for the internet packages. Once you select your package, you are in. [emoji6]

I would suggest using fb messenger or another chat app. We began our cruise using our regular iMessage texting and it worked well. However by day 3, we all slowly began losing texting capabilities. It no longer worked for most of our group and we switched to fb messenger.

Yeah with the wifi you need multiple ways to communicate. Facebook messenger, whatsapp, kik, some crash or don't work, so you need to bounce around.

Does the magic have the 3 levels of wifi you can buy? Can you buy the social package that has the video calling and snapchat?
