rn123 Posted August 19, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2015 We're considering doing this in Feb '16. I know there were some pretty poor reviews early on but wondered if anyone had been recently? We realise it is not the same as the bigger ships and are prepared for it being an expedition cruise as we used them for the Antarctic. duct tape Posted August 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2015 I have spoken with folks who were on early (read disaster) and those who have been on lately. They all enjoyed it and things have become SS. Enjoy!
57 varieties Posted August 19, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2015 We were on S Galapagos last November and loved it. If you enjoyed the Explorer and are interested in wildlife, you will enjoy it too. As Duct tape and you rightly say, it is an Expedition ship so eating options are more limited than on the traditional ships but the lecture, cabins and cruise experience more than make up for it. rn123 Posted August 24, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted August 24, 2015 Well, we've booked it now! Can't wait. Doesn't seem to be much activity for this ship on CC?
