Victory cabin 8311: thoughts?

Hey guys,

We book a guarantee cabin on the Victory's Mar 27th cruise, and we got room 8311. Anyone know if this is quiet? I'm a little worried, because it looks like the stage on the Lido deck is RIGHT above this and I hate noise.

I checked the Cabin thread but didn't see this cabin listed. Any thoughts on it?

Bad news.... I was in 8310 on the Triumph (sister ship / cabin location in same position as 8311, but on the port and the starboard side). Day 2 was woken up due to deck chairs being dragged across the lido deck in the middle of the night / very early am. Complained to Guest services, and it helped a little, but not much for the rest of the cruise.

I would be desperately trying to switch cabins if possible.

We once had cabin 8428, an aft wrap. Cabin was great, loved the balcony! Hated the noise from above though, we could hear the chairs and tables being moved, and everyone's footsteps.

Might be worth checking to see if you can relocate to an area where you don't have public space directly overhead. Even if it costs a little extra.
