mjonis Posted December 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2016 What would the recommendations be for iOS for an app that allows offline deck-plans/etc. for the MSC Divina? Although we did get the high-end Internet package, but figured the offline option would be a bit better. Thanks!
hawkeyetlse Posted December 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2016 You can save any page you open in Safari to iBooks as a PDF. Tap the "Share" icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with the arrow pointing up) and pick "Save PDF to iBooks". The file will be available in iBooks for offline viewing. I thought I was pretty tech savvy, but this is something I didn't know! Ty! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mjonis Posted December 5, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted December 5, 2016 Yes, thank you. Did not know you could save things that way. Still learning my iPhone. haha So I checked the actual MSC app. Um, no, it's more for booking cruises. Someone had said there's an app on board the ship that has deck plans, etc. Guess we'll find out tomorrow. I did download the Ship Mate app. I hadn't used it for a few years since it used to be online only, but apparently has offline support now.
