St. Peters Line-Stockholm/St. Petersburg

We are looking at taking the St. Peters Line from Stockholm to St. Petersburg. They offer a visa free cruise, but we are looking at a one way trip. We will have Russian Visas. Can anyone share experiences on the St. Peter Line. Our other choice is to take a Viking or Silja Line ferry to Helsinki from Stockholm, and catch a train from Helsinki to St. Petersburg. We have taken the Silja Line to Helsinki in the past, so we have a good idea of what to expect.

Hi ... I am planning a cruise Ferry trip on the St. Peter's Line in August this year ... I will be travelling from Stockholm-Tallin-StPetersburg-Helsinki-Stockholm. Wondering if anyone has done this trip. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated. Koalagrey (Australia).
