Vikingfan#1 Posted June 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2017 I've read how windy and rainy it is in Iceland and the Baltic ports. For those who have been, do I need a waterproof camera?
dsrdsrdsr Posted June 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Not unless you're going swimming. If it's so wet and windy that a camera is going to leak, then you wouldn't get any sort of picture anyway. I suppose a waterproof cover might be useful for getting close to Iceland's waterfalls. What have you been reading, anyway? As a for example, the next 10 day forecast for Reykjavik has 3 days rain, 5 sunshine, and winds remaining below 20 mph at all times. I suppose in winter it will be worse, but surely they don't cruise there in winter?
