wmaryw Posted January 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) We were looking forward to our 3rd cruise on Grandeur of the Seas. We were packed and ready to leave for January 16. On January 15 my husband had to be taken to the hospital with Congestive Heart Failure. Of course, we never showed up to board. I knew we were not entitled to any refund but because we had paid in full for the cruise, I thought we would be entitled to the Crown & Anchor Club loyalty points. I contacted my travel agent, who contacted the cruise line, and was told NO. You only get the loyalty points for the nights you are actually on the ship. This seems a little harsh to me. The perks with various levels are not very costly to the cruise line and the refusal to give them to a customer, who ended up paying a significant price for nothing, does not make me feel very loyal. Suitcasefull Posted January 29, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2016 You should probably post this under Royal Caribbean rather than the Other Cruise Lines thread. Doubt they pay attention here.
