Bequia Posted December 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 20, 2004 I wouldn't worry too much about the rain here, we're in the dry season right now. When it does rain, its usually for an hour then the sun comes out again. ;)
Gingee Posted December 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 20, 2004 They can't predict weather that far in advance.

spongerob Posted December 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2004 If you don't like the weather, just wait 30 minutes and you'll get something different.
mii Posted December 21, 2004 #6 Share Posted December 21, 2004 If there is one you cannot predict it is the weather. I even take my umbrella on every cruise I have taken. Whether in Alaska, Mex. Rivera and Caribbean. Just go prepared. Marilyn
CaptData Posted December 21, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 21, 2004 Also some places you go have Rain Forests. They are called that for a reason. As above, most showers are warm and short. When in Jamacia once, it rained ten mins. It was a very warm rain and helped to cool things for about 20 mins. It was very nice.
WeatherGeek Posted December 21, 2004 #8 Share Posted December 21, 2004 It is not uncommon for it to rain daily in the Caribbean, usually in the mid-late afternoon. These showers/thunderstorms are generally short-lived and easy to plan around. Yes, you're on vacation and don't want it to be rainy, but you're not at work, school or home, so just relax and have a great time!
