If you call the DCL reservation line, there is a prompt for current movies. You can call within 2 weeks of embarkation for close to accurate info about your cruise. Often they do not list new releases that will debut on your cruise.

Bottom line--any recent releases will be on the ship. Any releases in the US during your cruise will also do a PremEar at Sea (12:01 showing), usually followed by daytime showings. On longer cruises, there are older films as well. Short cruises may not have enough time to show everything you want to see so focus on the more recent releases.

For reference, we are sailing on the Dream May 20-24 and were told the movies are Finding Nemo, Big Hero 6, Into the Woods, Cinderella, Monkey Kingdom, and Age of Ultron in 3D

Told by whom? DCL says their movie line is accurate 2 weeks before embarkation, so you are not within their time frame yet. Outside that window, all you can get from DCL is info about what is currently showing.
