Question about the YC Family Suite window

My mother decided to join us on a girls cruise in August on the Divina so I changed out our YC suite with a balcony to the family suit so we only needed one stateroom. I just noticed that the stateroom has no balcony only floor to ceiling windows, It is my fault for not reading more when I booked it I suppose I just assumed looking at the photos the windows were doors to the balcony.

 

My question is does this affect the room if you have never sailed in anything besides a balcony? Does it still feel open or do you feel confined?
