Tips on Excursions

How much should one tip after their excursion? We are doing a horseback ride with Maria's Happy Horses in Mazatlan and it is only $35/person so a % is probably not sufficient. There will be 7 of us, 5 children and 2 adults. What would be an appropriate amount?

I would give $5pp just like for a cab ride.
