DCL Fanatasy: First Night Questions

1) Does the lifeboat drill take place before sailing and before the sail-away party?

2) Is the first night casual dining (any time, any non-premium restaurant) or does the assigned dining apply?

3) Is there a live show the first night?

The drill is around 4 pm. The party at 5

First night dining is casual

First night show is a welcome aboard show. Not one of the big productions.

The muster drill is at 4 pm. The sail away party follows. Actual departure time is set for 5 pm. The party will start before the actual sail away time.

There is never "anytime" dining on DCL except in the pool deck restaurant (which is not open on the first night). Attire on the first night is "cruise casual" and is at your set time and table, and dining room. Your location will be noted on your KTTW card and on the tickets in your cabin.

There is a "welcome aboard" show on the first night. It isn't one of the big fancy shows, but is worth seeing.
