vmorgan Posted June 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Good Morning; I posted a review about the Miracle a while back but not in the right place. We cruised on this fantastic ship on 05/02/04 and had the times of our lives. I really can't find one thing about the ship to complain about. Of course getting on and off is still a problem. This ship has some of the best entertainment and meals you can ask for. The rooms to us seem just a tad small but they are adequate. As far as the service goes for help it's really great. Any questions email me. Yes we're going on her again. vic
vilwil Posted June 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Hi I am glad that you enjoyed your trip! Can I ask- what cabin were you in and did it live up to your expectations? Thanks! Until the MIRACLE sails
Lefty1 Posted June 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2004 i am going on miracle 8/21 - have balcony room on verandah deck - any pictures - how is casino
vmorgan Posted June 18, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted June 18, 2004 High; We also had a veranda and loved it. We like sitinng on it before we turn in for the night to unwind. The casino is nice and is usually busy. But for some reason we thought it might be bigger. It's still a good size. The machines you can place your card in for points toward gifts. Just see the teller in the casino. Yes we took all kinds of pictures. I'm telling ya the ship is gorgeous. Just don't go buying to many things in there shops till the end of the cruise. They will have all kind of sales. If you have any other questions just ask. Vic vic
vmorgan Posted June 18, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted June 18, 2004 No problem telling you our cabin number was 6248. A great location to get to the main dinning room and to the Lido deck buffets. To tell you the truth I would like to have had a bigger cabin. Don't get me wrong it's not real small but the layout makes it a little difficult to move around. Thanks for asking. Barb C Posted June 18, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Lefty, Went on the Miracle on May 23. We had cabin 7202. Out of 6 cruises, this was my favorite cabin. I thought it was pretty and the balcony was very nice. When the deck got too crowded on sea days it was great to be able to go back to the balcony where it was cool and quiet. lisabk Posted June 18, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2004 Barb C, I was also on the 5/23 sailing...in cabin 7203. This was, without a doubt, our very favorite Carnival cruise. Lisa 5/23 Miracle Cruise

Barb C Posted June 21, 2004 #13 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Lisabk, Glad you enjoyed the trip too! I thought the sail down to Key West was as smooth as can be! Janice, The Atlantic can be rough but my two cruises to the Bahamas (one in May 02 and the other in May 04) were calm. You will love it! John and Christina, As far as the balcony, in 7202 it was NOT extended but I don't think I'd care one way or another plenty of room and it seem STURDIER than any balcony I've ever been on. Thanks for the cruise moment!

momofmeg Posted June 25, 2004 #22 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Morgan we were in cabin 6267 back in April. We had a guaranteed 8A but ended up with an 8C or 8D not sure which-whatever an extended balcony is. Our room was a nice size. First when you entered the cabin you were like in a small entrance area with the closet on one side and the bathroom on the othere side. After you passed this the room was at least 16 feet long and 10 feet wide-first you came into a sitting area with a sofa and coffee table with a dresser across from it and then the bed which in our case was put toghter to form a king. Beyond that was the balcony. The room was every bit as big as our room on our HAL cruise. I was disapointed in the bathroom more like a RCCL bathroom. We had nicer bathrooms on Fascination(inside cabin upper deck) and Inspiration (oceanview empress deck) Oh yes someone else asked about refrigerators. Our balcony room had one. It was locked. We did not bother to have it unlocked. I did not want to be tempted by $6 candy bars. Figured it was better for me to walk up to the Lido and get some of that self serve ice cream. (Also cheaper) The steward kept us in ice so there was no real need for the refrigerator for us.
