Spa Package on Brittania

Just wondered if anyone has purchased one of the spa packages recently for the Brittania? If you did, did someone contact you prior to sailing to make your reservations for the treatments and retreat days etc, or did you have to do this when you got onboard at the Spa?

From reading the Spa Package information on the website it says you will be contacted by a Spa Concierge prior to your cruise to make your reservations, but when my husband emailed p & o the lady said we can book the package in advance but we cannot make our reservations until we are on board at the Spa desk.?

Have only looked around the spa but on our cruises on Britannia we did notice that there are usually lots of special offers available. These are highlighted in the daily magazine or promotion stations around the ship.

Whilst it's not Britannia, we have booked an Escape Spa Package for Ventura on 30th of this month and I can confirm that we were contacted a few days ago to book the treatments and Retreat aspect, the rest to be booked directly at the spa reception desk once onboard.

I can't imagine it would be any different for either Britannia or Azura?
