  2. Photos from the sail in to Kodiak, Kodiak Island, Alaska.....
  3. Thank you! However, you are quite safe. This is our last kick at the can! 😉
  4. Agreed! I had a difficult enough time finding a paper World map though! 😅
  5. Today was a sea day en route to Kodiak, Kodiak Island, Alaska. Here are a couple of photos from our sail away from Dutch Harbor yesterday..... This is what our world map looks like now. Our voyage appears as a black line and our current location is shown by the red magnet.
  6. I brought mostly the right clothes. Not sick of them. 😅 However, I did pack things that I haven't worn very much and I didn't pack enough cold weather stuff. It isn't a real problem though. I am dreading the packing! 😒
  7. Thank you @Daveywavey70 ! It has been an awesome journey! 🥰
  8. Today we are docked in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. At 8:15 am this was our view..... Over the course of about 30 minutes the view became..... Now it's this....
  9. Today is our last sea day before Dutch Harbor. Temperature continues to be glacial. Our suite is cold and there are few places on the ship that are warm. I thought I had planned for this. It turns out that I am woefully unprepared! 😒
  10. Today was a very enjoyable sea day. Wine lecture and tasting with the very knowledgeable and entertaining gent Silversea Wine Ambassador Lawrence D'Almeida.
  11. Tonight we cross the International Dateline. We'll set our clocks back 23 hours and repeat May 4th. I really hope today is a good day. I'd rather not repeat a not-so-good day!
  12. No Grill last night and absolutely no strapless gown! 🤣 It was actually Informal last night and it was Farewell to Japan. We really enjoyed it!
  13. According to the Chronicles, the high today will be 35F / 2C. BRRRRR!
  14. We're now into our second sea day en route to Dutch Harbor, Alaska. I'm not sure how many sea days we are facing. We will be crossing the Intercontinental Date Line at some point. As expected, temperatures are in the very chilly range. We braved the Grill last night along with a number of hardy souls. It was Formal Night.
