  1. Alright, I got my status all taken care of and I got a PAT of 10:45 -11:00. I am a little nervous about the availability of UBER so we are going to use a private transfer. Rental car would have been the best cost wise, but driving on unfamiliar roads is not something I like to do.

New question, what time are private transfers allowed to enter the port? I feel like I read 11:00, but can no longer locate that information. We scheduled the transfer for 9:30, and I am hoping that we will be allowed onsite once we arrive.:D

Thank you for any and all responses.

  2. Thank you Moki'smommy and Ex techie. I did not think I could do anything online for my reservation, but will certainly try now. It makes complete sense that I could do it quicker than a TA.

I do have a different last name and address from 16 years ago, wow has it that been long? I will work on getting my Cast Away "status" recognized, even a few days will help. :)

Do I have to wait until the 90 day mark to select a PAT? I have 10 days until then! I will get my status updated and work on my online reservations and such. Once I know my PAT, then I will figure out the transportation.

You both are very helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you :)

  3. Hello. Has anyone had any experiences using UBER going from a Disney Hotel to Port Canaveral? We , DH DD 5 & I, are staying at the Art of Animation and I am concerned about taking Disney Transportation because we will get to the ship so late. I don't want to miss out on tickets for the Princess and Anna & Elsa meet and greets. Thank you for any help or advice!

Sorry about the repeat post. I thought I originally posted to the Disney Thread, then posted in Florida Depapartures.., I am very new to this.

  6. Hello. We cruised on the Spirit in Aug of 2010, the day dd turned one. She was a very fussy eater and came to adult food later then others. After the first evening we asked to speak to the maitre d in the mdr in the morning. We were directed to someone else. This woman would take an order for what we wanted for dinner for dd, have it puréed or prepared and delivered to our room before dinner in evening. We would transfer it to small child sized dishes with lids that we brought & would take it to the mdr with us. During dinner she would come over and we would place our order for the following evening. She was more than happy to purée or steam anything we requested. Only bad thing was they sent adult sized portions, even after told it was for a toddler, so some food was wasted. Good luck! Happy cruising!

  7. We haved cruised with DD twice. We requested a crib each time, but they can not be guaranteed by carnival. We received a crib both times. It was not in the cabin either time we arrived, but we just reminded the room attendant as soon as we could. Also, request an infant sized life jacket, there has never been one one the cabin. Happy sailing!
