As others have said, Havana is only for those guests who pay for the cabin in that area.  And buying wristbands from E Bay won't get you anywhere either.  The colors change week to week, and you have to be wearing it to even get in; your Sail and Sign has a sticker on it too.  If you tried to buy anything at the bar, you'd be asked to leave at that time. The area is monitored and enforced regularly.

I love those cabins, and do not mind the upcharge to stay there.  But it would really make me mad if someone who didn't pay the extra tried to skirt around the system.

Couldn’t agree move…I felt so uncomfortable when I spent a few hours in Haven on NCL Bliss as wasn’t a guest of that level. Should’ve had to walk the plank. I left before the gig was up. Wouldn’t enjoy daydreamer in my Havana experience this July.

  2. We were on the Eurodam earlier this season and they had a good selection of Alaskan beers (bottle) set up around the lido pool the entire cruise. These beers were included in the beverage package.

Thx u. I did a beverage package once, before the entire room was required to purchase. Can't justify $90 a day on alcohol.

Hoping to find a few beers during the happiest hours.

  3. My best Alaska memory, sitting on the veranda at 2am, full moonlight, calm water and seeing whales pass by...then actually hearing them "blow" ...to top it off we saw faint aurora borealis...our ship was sitting still outside Juneau overnight. if traveling with friends get the same deck opposite sides to see everything. Regardless of time of year bring warm jackets or clothing to layer...

  4. Take a look at Silver Cloud. South Lake Union or Stadium. Prices spike around Seattle sports events, Seafair, graduations, holidays, normal summer things. The Edgewater is next to the NCL pier, not sure you could closer. Don't stay by the airport to save a buck...try Bellevue, Capital Hill or get crazy and stay in Bremerton, walk on the ferry, explore, return via the ferry and see Seattle from the water better then cruise.

  5. If I'm not mistaken entering the National Park...Haleakala has changed to a reservation system you. Napili Bay is worth your time, get there early for parking and the pancakes...I've driven the island in a figure eight, not recommend, amazing yes. Look up "Aloha Stoked" on Facebook or YouTube Kalani Prince a local has done some short, simple videos from Maui. He also does some FB live steams weekly at sunset...it can be amazing. I'll also add, car prowls can and have been a problem in Maui. Common since says keeps you docs on your body and everything out of site, smash and grab takes minutes...
