Although my recent request for shareholder credit on our April cruise was granted, the email stated that future requests should go through the app, Stockperks.com. It appears to me that this will be a more efficient way to request credits.

My husband stenciled stars with white paint on our luggage (pretty inexpensive luggage). Never had a problem and we can usually spot our bags getting put into the cargo holes on the airplane.

I have been looking at the offered excursions for our August, 2023 cruise to Iceland and Greenland. Most seem to require quite a bit of walking and my husband will have trouble with that. Do you think more excursions will be added as time goes by? Many thanks.

Bob Brown, if the Ocean Voyager is like the Ocean Navigator and I think it is, then you won’t find a self serve laundry. These boats are not paddle wheelers but a totally different design. The send out laundry service worked well for us on a 16 day Great Lakes cruise. Garments are priced individually. See my comment above.

My husband and I cruised on Ocean Navigator this spring and used the laundry service. Men’s undershirts and shorts were about $1 to $2 each if I remember correctly. Polo shirts about $3 and Bermuda shorts around $3.50. Pajamas were $3.50 to $4. These are approximations. Service was quick and the clothes were hung on hangers. I consider laundry service charges just a very small part of cruising expenses. By the way, we were on a two week Great Lakes cruise, concentrating on Lake Superior. We had a wonderful cruise and highly recommend American Queen Voyages.

I was on that ship. Many townspeople came out to see us. Your city is lovely and we had a great time. I think our docking there made your news. There were tv cameras there early morning.

I am very much looking forward to our 6/2 Great Lakes cruise. Since Cruise Critic does not have a forum for Victory, I thought I would post here. Is anyone else going on this cruise or willing to share their past experiences on Victory? Thanks so much.

Decided to try again. Phone system was out on Thursday and Friday. Computer systems are down for many. Cruise has been sold out for a month. I got the brochure last week.

Still no response. Lousy way to do business.

I called on Friday and also filled in a booking request. Today is Monday and have heard from no one. Doesn’t seem like they want my business.

July 30 or July 31, 2021, who cares? I cancelled yesterday.

Thanks everyone. I have real doubts we will cruise too. I am so glad we don’t have to pay the balance until May. We should know something then.

Since Canadian ports are closed, what do you think the odds are of my cruise from New York to Iceland on the Insignia actually being a go?
-
We are booked on an Oceania 14 day from New York to Reykjavik in late July, 2021. It shows three ports in Greenland, the main reason I had originally booked the HAL trip.

Thank you so much. I did get a confirmation from our big box TA so I guess that is all I will get.

I can not find the credit from canceling anywhere under my account. Does anyone have an idea where it might appear? Thank you so much.

I am cancelling my cruise for which I booked a flight with Flight Ease. Will cancelling the cruise also cancel the flight or will I have to this separately? Thank you for your help.

I am trying to understand if it would be better to pay the $800 upgrade for OLife and choose the excursions. Because of the length of the cruise I would get $800 credit. Would this get me reduced pricing on excursions or should I just pay for the excursions and forget the OLife credit? New cruiser for a Oceania. Thank you.

It’s 340 days to 9/7/2020.

Cruiserbruce and StLouisCruisers, I get a message to call HAL when I go to the Flight Ease page. My trip is 8/19 and ends 9/7. It’s my understanding that I can’t use FE until 330 days past 9/7. If not, I have a computer problem. My home airport is BNA (Nashville).

Thank you so much, richwmn. I appreciate your help.
Should I ask for future cruise credit?

I recently had to cancel a cruise because of my husband’s hospitalization. I have been reimbursed by the insurance company. The personal cruise consultant at the cruise line offered fcc if I sent a physician’s statement. If I do so, should I report this fcc to the insurance company? I have many doubts that I will ever get to use the credit. Thank you.
