So we will be new to the Elite status on our next cruise. We always got the drink package but it is crazy now in price. We do early dining, will I be able to order a glass of wine in the dining room or will we be having to run out all thru dinner to get a glass of wine??

So we are in cabin 6287 unless we get our move up offer. What I am wondering and only if you need a little stroll. Can you reach Eden by going up the ramp here. I see the ramp to the next deck but there is also a wall. Looks like a great rip and glad you got to go but sorr you are not with us. 

Dress however you like.  Our dining experience on Anthem was like Furr’s cafeteria.  Table next to us in ragged jean shorts and t-shirts, I would not dress that way nor be allowed in a nice restaurant at home that way.  Low ceilings and packed in there so tight you could not move your chair, Had never been on a ship where they had the four little dining rooms instead of the two floor grand one.  Guess at one time there were actually different restaurants you could go. 

Thank you for the great review.  I felt like I was right there with you and helped get me closer to when we leave on the Dream on 4/14.  I followed your Dream review and am going back to re read it to help the weeks pass.  We will be doing the same ports and have been to them numerous times. Will look to see if we can find something different to do.  

Do you think I could get a watermelon martini at Alchemy bar??

So how was the excursion. We are going to have two grandkids with us and not sure they or we could handle that long of a ride. 

Greg you seem to use the internet a lot on your voyages. I have read it is really terrible.  I will need to check and send emails. I also have VPN on my work laptop. Any hints or ideas you can give me would be great.  Surely there is a work around. Thank you and I will be following you I love the drink photos I have made a list for my cruise in April out of New Orleans. 

We were on a cruise with our 2 grand children and the MDR waiters all brought the kids sodas, frozen drinks and milk shakes. There was never a charge on our bill. Then out by the pool the drink servers brought them frozen drinks. Asked our cabin number but there was never a charge. A lot of the waiters love the kids and like doing things special for them. 

We live in Denver and had to drive to Albuquerque to get ours. Drove in on a Sunday. Had a nice dinner and then got up the next morning for our 9AM appointment. Hit the road and were home late afternoon.

Does Slush only serve frozen drinks? And are they premixed and in spinners (like Fat Tuesday) or are they made to order?

No they are made to order!! Can be with alcohol or with out.

Slush with yummy drinks is also right outside the door. Opens at noon.

This port is part of our cruise in March of 2018. In reading it seems that the town is far from this dock. Taxi cab $60 AU. Does anyone know if Celebrity has a shuttle to get passengers from the ship to the town. Any advice or knowledge on this port would be great.

I don't think I will be swimming in any pool that has young children in, just in case their parents think they are trained.

They are running a special on our April 2018 Equinox cruise. This is for new bookings only. For only $49 you can upgrade from a OV to a Balcony cabin. Of course they raised the price of the OV to only $50 less than Balcony. So if you want to save $1 Book Now!

They did that on our Solstice Cruise in March 2018. We cancelled, then re booked and got a Balcony for the price of an OV. All perks still stayed the same only took a few minutes to do and a couple of days for refund of old deposit. Win Win!!!

We sailed out of Vancouver in July of last year and it was a breeze. Took taxi from hotel down the ramp unloaded luggage onto carts we went right in an on the ship by 11:30. Loved Vancouver and the ship port.

"Time is getting short. Two weeks from today we will be in Miami and will sail on Good Friday. I have managed to get myself to the point that I am looking forward to the cruise. Our last cruise was also on Navigator and we left the ship...well, less than impressed. However, we...ok, I...have been able to convince myself to go into this cruise expecting the best, in some cases in spite of some of the reviews. Maybe the MDR staff was just having an off week...not all steward can be fantastic...things like that. This will be our longest cruise, 9 days. I know that is not long on a ship for many here but me getting away for more than a week is difficult."

This is sad, I too am on this same cruise and hope the day never comes that I have to "get myself to a point that I am looking forward to a cruise". The ship may be tired, but if it is clean. I may not like everything I am served but I know I will never go hungry. I am not diamond or diamond + but I have always had wonderful service, but then again I do not expect to be waited on. I do not need a fantastic steward as long as he keeps the room cleaned up. I am going to be with my wonderful family and sharing wonderful moments with my grandkids. That is what is going to make the cruise the best so I can expect that it is going to be the best.

Looking forward to it. We leave on the 9 day on April 14th!!

I don't see any mention of a limit to the number of orders of each item that is included in the $7.95. Just says $7.95 per room.

We are in a connecting room with our kids and grandkids. Our other son is next to them. We will all post our order together for a late night feast that is cheaper than Johnny Rockets. Nachos, wings, burgers, cheese cake and cookies. When i look at the price of the cruise now and i paid over $1,000 less than what they are charging now i am good with it

We are also on the 4/14 cruise and have reserved one. I think everyone in our group is really looking forward to this day on the beach

I am curious. Do they have the ability to take pictures set up on most nights or just formal nights? I want a family picture done but not formal. On Celebrity they had photographers almost every night.

We are on April 14th cruise. Looked at Southwest Denver to FLL $649 for 2 of us. Got busy could not book till I got home. Fare going dropped $50 each going to FLL. What a wonderful surprise! $549 for 2 of us! Got our hotel in FLL and taking a shuttle in the AM. Miss the crowds at the Miami hotels :)
