  1. Great questions, everyone! I will do my best to find the answers. It seems like people have particular interest in the different beaches, as well as things to do on Sundays. While I'll be in the USVI tomorrow (Monday) through Friday, I will make sure to ask about weekend hours.

I'll also be reporting live from the trip on this thread, as well as putting together stories for the Lido Deck, our sister site The Independent Traveler and updating our port profiles for USVI. I'll be on a tight schedule, but I do think the islands have some new attractions since the last time our staff was down there....lots to do is a good thing!

Cruise Critic Chris - Other than this article for the Lido Deck (http://www.cruisecritic.com/blog/index.php/2014/04/22/destination-spotlight-the-u-s-virgin-islands-for-every-traveler/) what are the best other parts of this site (or sister site) to obtain information about these islands that you found out on your trip? Thanks!

  2. We were on the breakaway last year, and both myself and the wife got Casino cards and earned enough points for the free drink card while in the casino.

Same boat...but not sure how it works. Are our cards/points/free drink cards still valid? Or do we have to start over and get new ones when we leave Sunday on the Breakaway

Your points from the last cruise do not carry over.

The first time my wife and I cruised with NCL (on the Epic) we also got enough points (JUST enough, with approx 1600) for a free drink card, for drinks in the casino only of course. When we went to book our 2nd cruise, we phoned the "Casinos at Sea" department of NCL and booked our cruise through there. They offered us 20% off the regular cruise price in addition to a free drink card for both of us delivered to our room upon arrival.

If you don't / didn't book through Casinos at Sea, I am thinking you will have to rake up enough points again on your cruise before you can get a free drink card.

  3. For past cruises from the Port of Miami we (2 of us) have always flown out of Miami; however, this time we need to fly out of Fort Lauderdale Airport. We have never pre booked post-cruise transportation. I have always just walked out, and there is always people trying to get you to take their shuttle. In the past, I've only had to go to Miami Airport and had no issues grabbing a shuttle.

If I do not pre-book post-cruise transportation... does anyone have any experience just walking off the ship and the availability to get a shuttle to Fort Lauderdale Airport? Any advise / experience with this would be appreciated!

    Thanks!
