We're considering not doing an excursion this time in Mo-Bay and just taking a taxi to the Pork Pit for some food and Red Stripes and then heading back to the ship... Is it easy to take taxi's? Are there particular taxi's to avoid? What is the average cost?

Absolutely!! I'm military as well and I've worn my service dress for formal night... just be ready to be stopped a lot and thanked for your service... It's humbling and I definitely wasn't ready for that much gratitude.

We have FTTF and we're going out of Galveston in October and I honestly can't remember how our arrival, check-in and boarding went last year in September. Our check-in for our upcoming cruise is 11 to 11:30... I thought FTTF could check-in earlier than that and then board in the first groups after Diamond, Platinum and Suite Guests when boarding starts. Is that correct? We're parking at the Galveston Park-n-Cruise again this year.

I know its a long time away, but I always get excited once the cruise is booked. Doing the same locations; Key West and Cozumel but this time on a different ship. Can't wait to step aboard and start relaxing!
