  1. We are on a 7 night sailing on the magic in June which has two sea days, hope we do have the chance of a character breakfast. Which restaurant do they have it in? Just wondering as my dad is in a wheelchair and I have asked for an a accessible table for our main dining. Would I be right in presuming they would take this into consideration for the breakfast as well ?

  2. We were on the spirit recently with our 2 1/2 yr old daughter. They usually had at least 1 session a day in the under 3 playroom where they had organised messy play activities. They also read stories and played with bubbles and balloons. At other times during the day you were free to go and play in the room with the toys although I thought the toys were more aimed towards younger children it was still a nice way to keep her entertained for a short while. One tip I would have is to take a set of clothes just for doing the messy activities as it saved getting their nice holiday clothes dirty.

  3. We used an app called vdownload plus for our iPad which allowed us to download YouTube videos and watch them later with no Internet connection. It was a lifesaver for us and our two yr old daughter. Would highly recommend it !

  4. Question. With the time of the year, where you able to utilize the pools at all and how was the weather for the trip, both on the ship and while at port?

Hi, we had pleasant enough weather on the sailing leaving on the 9th December. It wasnt quite warm enough for shorts and t-shirts most days but I suppose it depends on what you are used to. We are from the north east of Scotland so some days we thought it was warm everyone else was cold !! We found the pools to be too cold, we had bought a wetsuit for our 2yr old daughter but she was still shivering ! Lanzarote was the warmest day we had, Casablanca was ok, madeira was lovely weather for strolling around and malaga was cooler. The days at sea weren't really great for outdoor activities but there was plenty of stuff going in inside. The kids activities were great for her age, look out for rainbow, she was fantastic with the little ones. Lots of messy play, so old clothes would be handy. At age 3 you will be able to use the proper kids club but we had no experience of this due to our daughter only being 2. Hope you have a great cruise, I would love to go back, despite it not being very hot we still had a brilliant time.

  5. We are flying british airways from Scotland via London heathrow to barcelona to join the disney magic in June. This will be the first time we have flown since my dad started using a wheelchair. We have arranged assistance however I am worried about how he gets to his seat and if he needs the toilet once onboard. His walking is limited to a couple if steps at best using a walking aid. Any tips would be greatly appreciated !!
