Our tour was just my husband and I and our 2 kids.  We were in a car (I think?) and there was more than enough room for the 4 of us.

I ended up calling the number and speaking to someone.  My excursion was great, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable.  We saw the whole island and went swimming at one of the beaches :)

Did you pay for half as a deposit? That was the only option we were given. The total cost was $38 pp and we paid $19 each as a deposit.

Our tour was the April 25th. I booked it and paid half on January 11 via PayPal and received a confirmation of the deposit from Scenic Tours Antigua later that day. The following day I received a confirmation sheet with instructions that I replied to the email that I had received it.

 

There were no problems at all, I would keep trying. Sean was wonderful and I hope there isn't a problem. I didn't communicate with him after I received the confirmation and I took the other half of the payment in cash in an envelope and Sean collected it the day of the tour. Hope this helps.

I did pay the 50% deposit for my family of 4. I received an automated reply right after, but nothing since. And I had been emailing him prior to booking, asking questions... he had been replying... then suddenly stopped. I have reached out to him a couple more times, and still nothing. Our cruise is still a month away, so I am still holding out hope I will hear back from him :)

I have a tour booked with them for next month, but he stopped replying to my emails 3 weeks ago. Was your excursion recent? I'm a little concerned he hasn't replied to my emails and I haven't received confirmation of my excursion that I booked (and paid for).

The name of the company? No idea. There are literally TONS of people once you get off the cruise ship, trying to sell you a boat ride. Pick one that fits your price. I believe we paid $80-$100 for the 4 of us. If you get quoted too high, walk away and find another. :) Good luck!

When I first explored the pirate ship excursion, it was offered at times that didnt agree with our stay in PV. Closer to the cruise, Carnival offered the excursion at a different time than what was on the pirate ship's website. :)

When you get off the ship, there are TONS of people trying to sell you tours. We went from one to another until we got the price we wanted. It was a water taxi and took us all over. We saw the cool rock formations, and lots of whales. The more people on your water taxi, the cheaper it will be. There was one other family with my family. Nice size boat for the 8 of us. :)

I also got Albuterol (generic) for $3 each (actually 2 for $6). Not in Cozumel though... we got ours in Ensenada.

Seriously though, doesn't anyone on this thread have health insurance w/script benefits?

I have excellent insurance, but my copay on inhalers is $45. I got inhalers for $3 each in Ensenada this past summer. :cool:

To answer your question, yes, the cabin was very quiet. I never heard any noise, and the elevator was right there. Great location!

The balcony was awesome! You can't see directly down, but there's nothing to see there. The life boats are one level down, so your view is not obstructed at all. Enjoy your cruise!

Hello Copamom. How did you like the cabin? Was it quiet around it?

We haven't left for our cruise yet. 5 more weeks. :) I will be sure to post when I am back (with pictures!) :)

Thank you for the pics :) The view doesn't look to be the greatest... I assumed the room was recessed based on the deck plans. This is our first balcony (my husband and my second cruise, but first for our kids). We are just excited for the cruise itself! 7 more months!

I booked this room on the Miracle for March 2014 (without knowing how awesome the balcony was!). The links to the pics don't work anymore (I know this post started several years ago). Anyone have recent pics (or links) they can share? I am very excited! Room seems to be in a great location! Do the lifeboats below obstruct the view looking down at all?
