Yes they are all uncovered . People don’t hang out on spa balcony, usually at the spa[emoji4]. And yes it’s
It gets warm.

I used a neurosurgeon. I feel he had more experience on the spinal area and and the nerves going around them. Also my genetic disease played a factor.

I’ve had both. I like the 12th floor. It’s straight to the spa. 11 floor you have to go up.

Not bad. I had a bone cadaver put in. I stayed in the hospital overnight my pain scale never went over 5. One of the easiest surgeries I had. And I had 11 so far.

I’ve had 3 rooms on the spa room balcony. I didn’t. I’m prone to sea sickness cause of my menieres too. And the motion didn’t bother me. I love having the spa right there.

I had that exact same surgery. Last year November 29,2017. Recovery was easy. Dr wanted to see me in a month for new X-rays and see how I’m doing. U should be good.

I’ve gotten three spa balcony rooms. Two on the breeze. The pool is wonderful and really big. Has minerals in to aid in treatment of arthritis or sore muscle, joints. The dress code is bathing suit and your robe from the room. I would go as much as possible. Also has heated loungers , steam rooms. Try them all. You get a 10,20,30 discount. If you buy a message it 10% off combine it with pedicure now 20% both, if you do seaweed cleaning then all is 30% off I think.
I didn’t do it. My husband and I did the couple massage. Got 75 min for price of 50 min. Spa runs specials the whole week and has mini freebies also.

It’s not included. I’ve had the couple massage twice. Do not know the price.

With the spa room you get the band and access to the pool, and saunas. The couple massage does not include the hot tub. The hot tub is with either a spa pass or spa room.
Spa room gives you a ( I think) 10% off of massages, or whatever you wish.
The spa does run deals through out the cruise.
My husband and I did the couple massage for $ 300 but, it was 70 minutes . Mine was hot stones and his was bamboo.

I’m in a wheelchair, so I’m pat down every where. I got over it. It’s embarrassing for them also. They rather not do it. Faster you cooperate the faster you can leave.

They’ve asked me if I have any metal? I say yes. Then the next question is where? It’s the same no matter where I am . Having a MRI , TSA. They are usually ok with asking. When they realized how much I have , I get the sad [emoji20] face.
Lol.

I’ve got the same issue. 9 surgeries in the head. A plate, screws, staples. And of course not including the ones in my thumbs, neck, and back, I just laugh when they ask any metal?

Breeze- layout, the cloud 9 spa, it’s not too big and has what I’m looking for. Been on her twice.

There is a issue with Vista regarding this. I use a wheelchair and was renting one . I asked several people if I can go to my room and get it. Was told either no, maybe. I said since I don’t have FFTF can someone get it for me? It was crazy. All different responses. My husband went to the room and got it. Your right about the issues with ADA.

No one can ever promise that you won't get sick on a ship...or at WDW. All we can say is that DCL has as good a track record as any cruise line out there and better than many. And just like at WDW' date=' they are constantly cleaning and disinfecting. They don't want people out there saying that they got sick at Disney--whether the parks or the ships!
The other posters are correct--noro is a very short lived illness, lasting only a few days. But they can be a pretty horrible few days, especially when you were supposed to be enjoying a vacation![/quote']
Thank you very much. The wonder had it last year. I’m not going to try it. Thank you for all
The feedback. I will stay on land.

If you’re still sick to this day, it’s not from noro. That seems to pass within a couple days and that’s it. Are you sure you didn’t get E. coli or salmonella? That can have lingering effects.

No. I didn’t. I was tested when I flew home .
But, thank you. I’m really wondering about
Getting sick on Dcl that’s all. If not I’m
Staying going to Disney world. Thank you

If you are still sick, it might not be norovirus. It is probably past time for a diagnosis.

I have a infection in the intestines. On meds
For it. Just got the meds . Thank you for wondering

Norovirus is everywhere--at schools' date=' at the grocery store, at the library, church, wherever you go AND on cruise ships. The big difference is in the reporting requirements. A public school is required to report to the USPH service when 10% of their "population" is absent. On a cruise ship, a report is mandated when 3% of their "population" (which means crew + guests) are known to be ill.
DCL has an excellent cleaning program, and is constantly cleaning public spaces where diseases are most likely to be spread--things like elevator buttons, public restrooms, etc. Noro is spread by hand to mouth contact--a person gets the virus on their hand and then places their hand in or near their mouth. It is suppressed by good handwashing and cleaning surfaces that are most likely to be contaminated. You'll see DCL doing their part all over the ship (we don't see nearly as much obvious cleaning on some other lines). They teach hand-washing in the kid programming! So it is up to each guest to do his or her part--wash your hands thoroughly after using the restroom, before meals, and any time that it seems like a good idea. Some people advocate using an elbow or a tissue when pressing elevator buttons. Wash your hands some more and consciously keep them away from your face. Don't get on the ship if you are sick--there is no need to spread your joy with fellow passengers!
The fact that a cruise ship has to make a noro report does not mean it is a good or a bad line. A couple of guests spreading it around can make any line look bad. To answer your question--DCL has had one report on one ship, and that was many years ago. They also once canceled a cruise in order to "deep clean" their ships at a time when other lines were having huge issues. At that point, it was a preventitive issue as DCL had not had problems.
There are probably people with noro on almost every cruise--the idea is to keep it from spreading.[/quote']
I’m just wondering. I went on a ship on November 4 not sick and by November 6 I was sick. Still sick to this day. It affected the low immune system people and elderly. Disney seems to keep ahold of it on land. So I was wondering at sea? I can’t do another cruise like that again. Thank you for your time.

Hello:
After being on Carnival for a few years and this
Year getting Norovirus on there new ship Vista.
I wanted to see if or has Disney has or had
It on there ships? I have been to Disney World
Over [emoji817] times and never been sick there.
I just hadn’t been on the cruise ship with them.
Thank you .

This is going to be a little different view. I will
Explain as I go on. Got on the ship at 11:30 am and was told we would sail at 10:00 pm. Ok not
A deal breaker. Went to eat at the Lido and then went to look around the ship. We didn’t have Fttf so when our room time opened up , we decided to take a short nap. Also, we had any time dining so we ate there that night.
Next day. It was at sea . We had a spa room so
We stayed there and ate at lido. Didn’t do much.
On Monday, I started to get sick, really sick. My
Husband went to the fun shops but, they don’t
Carry the meds and suppose to report you. He called the medical clinic. He wheeled me down
There and they didn’t do hardly anything. Gave me 4 pills and charge me 8 bucks. Also , stop me from going on the ports.
Next day, same drill. You go down there. They
Barely look at u. More pills.
This occurred 5 of 8 days. Found out , there
Was a few of us with gastrointestinal virus.
On my last day, went down there and they realease me.
I have had this problem for 12 days and Carnival wants to give me 300.00 towards another cruise. Expires in one yr. my medical bill is higher than the rembersent.
Not going on Carnival in many years.

I liked the ship. We were on 11/4 sailing. The spa is smaller, but, overall there’s much to each at and see. The only negative I have personally is I got gastrointestinal virus on Monday thru Saturday. The staff in medical dept doesn’t care about at all. I told them , the meds they gave me were not working. They said that’s all u get. I still have it 10 days later. My stewardess was so sweet , she worried about me. Room service also, had limited selection. The ship from what I saw was pretty.
