We were being dropped off by our son. We planned our arrival for 10 AM, being willing to wait to get on board. We did not get to the drop off point till Noon. Our Royal Genie was frantic wondering where we were. The ship departed one hour late. Not looking forward to this again.

We cruised Anthem in October of 2018 and had the worst embarktation in our 15 years of cruising. The lines for drop off were terribly long and when we finally got to the cue person cars were only let in one at a time! We are crusing again in December and wonder if this is a continuing problem as we would definelty alter our arrival time.
Thanks in advance!

In October of 2018 we experienced distressingly long embarkation lines for Royal Carribean. Never in our 15 year crusing history have we had such a problem.
Has anyone since experienced this problem at Cape Liberty?

We are scheduled for 10/14 to NE/Canada. Can anyone comment on ability to use the balcony given the time of year (weather and temps)?
Any soot issues?

A question regarding the self service laundromat, are they coin operated? How much per load? Standard machines or high efficiency? Can you bring your own detergent/softner?
Thanks on advance!

We have traveled with HAL for 11 cruises over the years and love the HAL family. DH is unable to fly anymore and living in PA we have no options! Does anyone know if HAL plans to offer more trips out of NYC like Caribbean and Bermuda
?

I've always wondered when/if the staff cleans the menus in the MDR. My guess is "no".
I carry a small hand sanitizer bottle when on board and after we finish with the menu, we clean our hands with it. You never know where that menu has been.
Any purse I purchase for cruise must accommodate my little bottle of sanitizer! Great minds think alike!!!!!!

We sail on the Regal on 10/14 for our first Princess cruise. Your posts, descriptions and pics have us so excited for our trip. Thanks so much for sharing!

If you pull this off I'm sure you would be featured in the internet sensation, cruise version of "seen at your local Walmart"? Good luck....................

Second formal night is not the only day at sea, 6th night? That is odd?!?!

I'm scheduled for total knee replacement end of next month and I know everyone is different, recovery times will vary from individual to individual. What was your recovery like, how long before you felt comfortable, we're planning a cruise on the Regal; want to be ready to go! Thanks.
My surgery was 8/18. It has been slow going for me, I have some scar tissue causing problems. Our cruise is 10/14. I will see the doctor again a week after we return. If I don't have significant progress I will need a manipulation.
My personal recommendation would be to wait till 12 weeks out for a cruise, if you have the luxury of picking the date. We had this booked for a year and between booking and now my knee became much worse and I had to proceed. I will be 8 weeks out when we sail.
Everyone is different as far as recovery. Your surgeon would be a good recommendation to seek out.
Best of luck!

I will be sailing 10/14. Recently had total knee replacement. Need to continue PT "workout". Can anyone comment on the pricing for gym use? Is by the time you are there? Daily? One price for whole cruise? What hours will it be open?
Thanks!

Do you need to have the internet package to use this?

a BIG thank you for the info!!!

I have a pack to "chill" for reuse. Regular freezer is too much, it freezes solid. If just a freezer shelf it would be perfect for my use!

I saw mention of this several days ago on an old post. I am wondering if anyone can offer any information related to this service , if they still offer it.
cost?
set-up?
ease of use?
thanks
