I will be cruising next week and I will be wearing a tux and the wife will be in a gown. I like to dress up as does she.

All of your reviews are awesome. Quick question. What cab service should I use from Shem Creek Inn for my January Fantasy cruise. Sorry to go off topic.

I went through USAA. They had three different plans to choose from. Very convenient and a great price.

Have a great time. It would be awesome if you posted a link to your review on this board whenever you start it.

On our last cruise we ran up an over $500 on our S&S (mostly alcohol) so we will definitely be purchasing the Cheers program in January.

I read on John Heald' s Facebook today that they have extended the Cheers Bar Program to the Fantasy. If anyone on here drink a lot of alcohol on their cruises then you might want to look into this.

I just read this whole thread. It has ignited the "I can't wait excitement". I'm totally with NCTribeFan in that I would cruise once a quarter as well. If only that Powerball would come in for the Coca Cola group I would be set. Thanks for all the helpful posts on here. It is appreciated.
What can you tell me about Charleston and Fantasy?

I cruised the Fantasy this past January. We stayed at the Shem Creek Inn in Mt. Pleasant. The hotel wasn't awesome, but it met our needs and there were plenty of places to eat and have a drink within walking distance. They did not offer a shuttle but the cab ride was only $20 and thats with the tip. Once we actually got to the port I was very glad that I had done the park and cruise thing rather than drive to the port. It was my first time there and it definetly would have been frustrating not really knowing the layout and all. I also had purchased FTTF. I really enjoyed being able to go straight to my room and unloading my carry ons. Other than that and using the VIP line a couple of times at guest services I didn't benefit greatly from it.
