I have booked a tour with Barcelona Day tours. Communication back and fourth was great. We booked the Barcelona & Montserrat – combination day tour for the month of October 2015 before we leave on our cruise.

Hello
I found the offical amber cove website. Looks like they are investing alot of money into this port.
We will be there in March 2016 :)

Does anyone know when Royal Caribbean releases their schedule for Summer 2016 European cruises? Trying to plan the honeymoon.
Thanks

It is on the ocean.
We found sandals to be more pricey and they do not have the option of all you can drink.

It is an ocean front view but the ocean is not the best. There is a huge drop right when you get into the ocean. Plus there are alot of sea shells in the begining. The view is breath taking though. I would not recommend swimming in the resort ocean spot. My Fiance and I loved their pools and lazy river. Food is also very good. You do not need to bring towels. We used there towels.

We are not looking into anything luxury. We did our research on Da House and know what we are getting our selfs into :) We will deff be visiting Cafe Malloraca. There is a bunch of restaurants we will be visiting on San Franciso st.
You coming back in Nov?

How was Da House? My GF and I are staying two nights before the cruise and one night after the cruise at Da House. We are both in our late twenties.

If money is no object then I would recommend The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan.
It will outbeat any hotel in the country so long as your willing to spend the $.

how was the weather through out?

viator.com has tours as well. We are doing the St. Maarteen shore excursion: Orient and Maho beach half day tour.

I am a bit confused about the dress code issue. I know everyone is suppose to "dress up" twice during the cruise which is Tuesday and Thursday for the Valor. Do we also have to dress up the other nights at the buffet?

There is a website called sea scanner. You can google that and then type in the name of the ship after sea scanner in google. Click on the first link for sea scanner and it will give you all the ship info with numbers and live updates as well.

I will be staying at the Da House in March! Good to hear other people are staying there :)

I was planning on drinking out of the wine bottle on the Valor while walking around. Is that not allowed?

Hello,
My parents are leaving on the Carnival Liberty on the 17th and my girlfriend and I are leaving on the Carnival Valor on March 9th. My question is what do we need to carry with us for identification aside from the sail & sign card.
I was on the Carnival Glory in 2011 and I think I just used my sail & sign card to get off and on the ship at ports. I don't remember if I was carrying my driver licences or passport.
I would much rather use my driver licence as a piece of ID along with my sail &sign in card. Any information on this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

There is also a hotel called Da House. I have not stayed there yet but I have booked my reservation for March. The price ranges from $100 to $120 a night. Its a simple place if you just want a clean simple room to sleep in. Also right in Old San Juan.
Read the reviews on TA.
Where to stay in Puerto Rico
in San Juan, PR

I have stayed at Da House in old San Juan. 15 min from the airport. 3 min walk to the port. Da house is in the heart of old San Juan. Walking distance to both forts. If you adventures enough you can find a nice beach near the fort. This place is a hidden jem.
Please keep in mind Da house is not for everyone. Do your research on tripadvisor and other internet website and visit the hotels website.
